School students make teas

Visitors from the Bad Salzdetfurth enjoyed cream teas made and served by young people from Brimsham Green School, when they arrived at Poole Court at the start of their stay in the Yate area. 

Thirty years of Twinning celebrated

Sue Walker and Gunter Sturmer, who were Chairman of Yate Town Council and Burgermeister of Bad Salzdetfurth when the Charter was signed in 1985, were both present at a Celebration Dinner in South Gloucestershire Council Offices on Friday, 12th June. 

Arrival of group

Yate Twinning members will be welcome at Poole Court in Yate on Tuesday afternoon, 9th June, when a group from Yate's twin town of Bad Salzdetfurth will be arriving at around 3.30pm. Cream tea provided!
