Learning German

The U3A German group is now post beginners/ improvers level. The group meets on Mondays from 4pm - 6pm at Brimsham Green School, Yate. If there is sufficient interest it's hoped to start a beginners' group which will run on Tuesdays from 2.30 - 3.30pm somewhere in Yate/Chipping Sodbury - venue to be arranged. If you are interested in German at any level please contact Mary Littler (07946058390) for the U3A groups or Fiona Blair, who can give individual or group tuition (tel. 07968291882).
Thirty Years of Twinning

Penny Spiller is giving an illustrated talk at the Grammar School Rooms, Chipping Sodbury at 7.30pm on Saturday, 22 November. Come along to hear about the history of Yate Twinning, as it celebrates its 30th Anniversary. £2 per person - please bring a plate of food to share and your own drink.
