Twinning Photo 2010 Competition

If you took photos during the trip to Germany, why not take part in the Twinning Photo Competition?  Send up to 5 photos per family to Pam Pearce's personal email address by Friday, 10 September - contact us if you do not have it.  There will be prizes, and all photos submitted may be used on the Twinning Association website.

Mark Reynolds of Blazen Web Marketing, who designed this website, will judge the photos.  Winners will be announced at the Wiedersehen 'Post-Trip' Meeting on Friday, 17 September at 7.30pm at Poole Court, Yate.  If you have printed off any of your photos, please bring them along to show to your fellow travellers.

25 Years of Twinning

During the 2010 visit to Bad Salzdetfurth, Yate & District Twinning Association Chair, Ruth Boulton, presented an anniversary plate to Bürgermeister, Erich Schaper, to commemorate 25 years of Twinning.  It will be displayed in the Library, which is part of the KulturBahnhof (the modern station building which was opened in 2005).
