Presentation to Werner and Helga

The visit of our friends  from Germany last week went by all too quickly and was enjoyed by both hosts and visitors alike.

The Farewell evening last Friday was an occasion not only to say goodbye as a group but also to mark the sad retirement of Werner and Helga who have decided this is the last visit to Yate they will  organise.  The hard work and detailed organisation that Werner and Helga have put into organising the visits to each country  is exceptional and we at Yate thank them for this.   To show our appreciation a presentation was made of a wooden carving of a handshake (the hands of friendship) also a large plate signed by Yate Twinning members.

We look forward to keeping in touch during the year and to our visit to Germany next year.
